Butter is a staple on every southern table and honey butter is even more desirable! Meredith Simmerman, owner of Reney’s Honey Butter didn’t set out to be a food creator. In fact she is a well-respected counselor with a private practice in Mobile, Alabama. Her love of cooking and inventing something new sparked an idea for her popular butter concoctions.

According to her mom, Meredith walked in the kitchen with a basket full of fresh blackberries and decided to create something of her own. Whipping sweet butter, honey and blackberries together, yielded a delicious spread. It paired perfectly with a warm crusty croissant. This was the humble beginning of Reney’s Honey Butter.
