Meet Kristi Barber, owner of The Cheese Cottage located in the heart of downtown Mobile, AL. Prior to opening her specialty store in 2018, she spent 17 years working for a Fortune 100 company. During her travels to Europe she became enamored with the socialization surrounding cheese and charcuterie boards. It reminded her of the southern tradition of family gatherings around a crawfish boil. Kristi was determined to introduce her hometown to this European tradition.
